What’s SPAM?
Our definition of spam
SPAM is an unwanted message you send to someone who hasn’t given you their direct permission to contact them. The main reasons for people reporting messages as SPAM are:
Lists coming from events – When you participate in an event and get contacts from people who were there as well, those emails can be used if you’re going to make individual contact (one by one). Sending campaigns to those people indiscriminately is SPAM.
Outlook Emails – Frequently, people export an Outlook list from a company and use that list to send campaigns. Problem is: some of those contacts may be personal email addresses, and some other may be just suppliers that don’t have anything to do with the service or product you’re offering. Furthermore, some people may have left the company, and a lot of those emails will come as bounces.
Purchased lists – Buying lists is not a good idea. Don’t waste your money and time with it.
